One Million Followers

Yesterday, Sunday 27th April, 2025, was the day we finally cracked a million followers on Instagram.
What started as a funny little project with my two kids, Dom and Al, around 10 years ago, has since been seen by hundreds of millions of people across the globe. And yet, having made it to 900k three years ago, the big one mill had become a peculiarly elusive milestone.
Of course, nothing’s really changed in the last 24 hours, except that I’ve been able to tell my now teenage sons that, according to most media industry definitions, we’re now (slightly laughably) known as ‘mega-influencers’. That all said, knowing how Instagram works, we’ll very feasibly drop down to nine-hundred-and-ninety-thousand-something again next week, and I’ll have to quietly delete this post.
Thank you to everyone who follows us - those who have been around since the start, and those who have found us very recently. It's been an epic decade, and there’s so much more still to come. There has to be - Things I Have Drawn has become too big a part of my life, and I have so many more ideas still to explore.
